Workflow automation for the work nobody should do by hand.

Velvy automates the manual work between your tools: data copied from one system to another, documents read and retyped, follow-ups sent by hand, reports rebuilt every week. We map the workflow first, then automate it with code and APIs, using AI where a step needs judgment, with logging, retries, and human review built in. The usual starting point is a one-week Automation Audit.

What we build

Automations with error handling, not wishful thinking.

01

System-to-system sync

Records kept in step across your CRM, billing, database, and spreadsheets, with conflicts handled rather than overwritten.

02

Document processing

Invoices, forms, contracts, and emails read by AI, checked against your rules, and written into your systems as structured data.

03

Triggered follow-ups

Emails, texts through Twilio, and tasks fired by events like a new lead, a failed payment, or a signed contract.

04

Scheduled reports

Recurring reports and alerts assembled from your data and delivered where your team will actually read them.

05

Approval workflows

Steps that pause for a person to approve, with everything they need to decide in one place.

06

Billing automation

Stripe events reconciled with your records, failed-payment follow-up, and invoices generated from data you already have.

How we build it

Map it, then automate the parts that pay.

01

Audit the workflow

We sit with the people doing the work, map each step and system, and see where the time really goes.

02

Rank by payoff

Each candidate is weighed on time saved, error risk, and build effort, so the highest-value steps go first.

03

Build it in code

Automations written in TypeScript or Python with retries, idempotent steps, and alerts, so a failure is noticed and recoverable.

04

Keep a person in the loop

Review queues for anything uncertain, and logs that show what ran, when, and why.

How to engage

Start with Automation Audit.

An Automation Audit maps how the work really gets done and turns it into a ranked build plan, so you know what to automate before anyone writes code.

We start with paid discovery, never an unpaid test project, so the plan rests on your real requirements.

What kinds of workflows can be automated?
Anything repetitive that follows a pattern: moving data between systems, reading documents, sending follow-ups, building reports, and routing requests. AI extends that to steps that need some judgment, like classifying an email or pulling terms from a contract, with a person reviewing the uncertain cases.
What does the Automation Audit include?
One week mapping how the work actually gets done: the steps, systems, people, and failure points. You come away with a ranked build plan showing the effort and payoff of each automation, whether or not we build it.
Why custom code instead of a no-code tool?
No-code tools are fine for simple, low-volume automations. Custom code makes sense when a workflow needs real error handling, complex logic, AI steps, higher volume, or data you would rather not pass through another vendor. If a no-code tool is the better choice, we will say so.
What happens when an automation fails?
It should fail loudly and safely. We build retries for temporary errors, alerts for persistent ones, and idempotent steps designed so a retry does not send a message or charge a card twice. Every run is logged, so you can see exactly what happened.
Do automations replace staff?
Usually they remove the repetitive part of someone’s job so they can spend their time on work that needs a person. The audit is explicit about which tasks change and which stay human.
