Telegram or Discord: which should we build for?
Build where your users already are. Telegram suits announcements, direct conversations, and mobile-first audiences; Discord suits communities organized around roles and channels. One bot backend can serve both.
Can a bot answer questions from our own content?
Yes. An AI chatbot can retrieve answers from your docs, FAQs, or database and respond through the OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, showing where the answer came from and handing off to a person when it is unsure.
Where does the bot run?
On a hosted backend with its own database, not on a laptop or a free script host. That gives you monitoring, logs, and room to add features without starting over.
How do you stop spam and abuse?
Per-user rate limits, permission checks on every admin command, input validation, and moderation tools for your team. For AI features, we limit what the model is allowed to do and log every response for review.
Can a bot take payments?
A bot can send Stripe checkout or payment links and react to completed payments through webhooks, for example to grant access to a channel or confirm an order.
